Tane and his children
Once upon a time in a land far far away a guy called Tane lived. There was only one problem, only Tane lived there. One day Tane said, “I will make a forest”. So he set to work on his brilliant plan...to be continued immediately...
First Tane needed to find the right place to plant his trees and his bushes. So he walked and walked for over three weeks until he found the right place.
Then he planted the first trees and they were so tall not even the birds could get to the top. Then he made the birds he sent the birds soaring into the air like meteorites.
Then he made fresh juicy berries so the birds could eat them.
Then he sent chirping crickets, buzzing bees and flapping flies onto the trunks of trees.
Then he made big succulent flowers so the insects could survive.
Tane declared that this would be his home and children.

Great work James, I knew you could do it. I really like the way you have used describing words in your writing.
ReplyDeleteWow James, I do love some of the descriptive words you have used. Great retelling of a myth!
